“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” - Charles Darwin.
When one decides to master his/her conscious, one has to master the natural forces. Life is a constant wave of change. How you master and adapt to change will define your future path. You and your soul live in a self contained, universe supplied, environment. The only limitation of this environment is what you can comprehend. Your environment co-exists with other people's environments, forming relationships. You have, and will continue to receive, powers provided to you by the universe. The vast majority of these powers will not be discovered by you, making them an infinite list of discoveries you can make throughout your life.
As mentioned in my previous post lets check out the 3 important concepts interpreted by consulting the i-ching "the book of change".
01. Enrichment or Increase.
03. Depletion or decrease.
Increase (Enrichment): Enrichment depletes everything lofty and enriches everything lowly, so the people's joy swells beyond all bounds. Everything lofty sinking beneath everything lowly: such is the way in its vast radiance.
It furthers one To undertake something. It furthers one to cross the great water. Sacrifice on the part of those above for the increase of those below fills the people with a sense of joy and gratitude that is extremely valuable for the flowering of the commonwealth. Therefore in such times of progress and successful development it is necessary to work and make the best use of time. The time of INCREASE does not endure, therefore it must be utilised while it lasts.
Adversity: Above mountains, water: that is Adversity. Using it, the noble minded turn back within themselves and cultivate heart-sight clarity.
Times of adversity are the reverse of times of success, but they can lead to success if they befall the right man. When a strong man meets with adversity, he remains cheerful despite all danger, and this cheerfulness is the source of later successes; it is that stability which is stronger than fate. He who lets his spirit be broken by exhaustion certainly has no success. But if adversity only bends a man, it creates in him a power to react that is bound in time to manifest itself. No inferior man is capable of this. Only the great man brings about good fortune and remains blameless. It is true that for the time being outward influence is denied him, because his words have no effect. Therefore in times of adversity it is important to be strong within and sparing of words.
Decrease (Depletion): If you master depletion, you find the dedication of a bird sitting on eggs, find all origins bringing forth good fortune. Never going astray you move inexhaustible indeed.
Decrease does not under all circumstances mean something bad. Increase and decrease come in their own time. What matters here is to understand the time and not to try to cover up poverty with empty pretense. If a time of scanty resources brings out an inner truth, one must not feel ashamed of simplicity. For simplicity is then the very thing needed to provide inner strength for further undertakings. One must draw on the strength of the inner attitude to compensate for what is lacking in externals; then the power of the content makes up for the simplicity of form.
Power and energy by itself have no value in your environment. It is how efficient you convert power to skill and then how well you use that skill (an action) that determines how (good or bad) you have used your energy.
The determination of how energy is used (good or bad) is based on how the energy comes back to you. The domino effect of this is that your future path of destiny is changed by how energy you have used comes back to you.
So understand the wave and be brave to ride that wave...
